The scenic town of Brookline is located in eastern Massachusetts and borders on the cities of Newton and Boston. Former President of the United States, John F. Kennedy was born in Brookline and lived his first 10 years in the town. Today, visitors may visit the John F. Kennedy National Historic Site and view the birthplace and boyhood home of the President. Brookline is also home to the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, a haven for car collectors. Nature enthusiasts will love the many parks and gardens found within the town. Some notable parks include: the Newton Street Park, offering various recreational activities; Longwood Mall, featuring what is considered to be the oldest grove of European Beech trees; and Larz Anderson Park, which is the largest park in Brookline, spanning a little over 61 acres (24.7 ha).
